<p>This Sources Sought Notice is issued for <strong>market research and information gathering only</strong>. This notice does <strong>not</strong> constitute a solicitation, a request for proposal, or an obligation on the part of the Federal Government. Participation is voluntary and at no cost to the Government.</p>
<p><strong>1. Overview & Purpose</strong></p>
<p>The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Counterterrorism and Emergency Planning Branch (CPD), will host an <strong>Industry Day</strong> focused on <strong>GPS‑enabled monitoring devices with integrated two‑way phone call capability</strong> and <strong>associated monitoring and data‑management services</strong>.</p>
<p>The purpose of this event is to obtain information from industry on current technology capabilities, operational use cases, and emerging innovations applicable to correctional environments. Input gathered will support the BOP’s efforts to enhance inmate accountability, improve institutional safety, and strengthen the management of inmate movement and monitoring.</p>
<p><strong>2. Industry Day Objectives</strong></p>
<p>Vendor participation will assist the Government in understanding:</p>
<p>• Capabilities and limitations of GPS‑enabled monitoring devices with two‑way communication<br />
• Integration potential with BOP systems and operational workflows<br />
• Data‑management tools, analytics, reporting, and service models<br />
• Security features, tamper detection, and data‑protection mechanisms<br />
• Deployment and support considerations<br />
• Applicability to correctional use cases</p>

Each vendor will be allotted <strong>up to 60 minutes</strong> for their demonstration and discussion. Individual time slots will be scheduled following registration.</p>

• Research and development organizations supporting law enforcement/corrections</p>
<p><strong>6. Demonstration Logistics and Requirements</strong></p>
<p>To assist with planning, vendors should note the following:</p>
<p>• Vendors are responsible for bringing their own equipment and connectivity unless otherwise coordinated.<br />
• Notify the Government of any wireless transmission requirements.<br />
• Bring necessary cables, adapters, chargers, or display devices.<br />
• Clearly mark any proprietary content shared during demonstrations.<br />
• Allow adequate time for building security screening; a government‑issued ID is required for entry.</p>
<p><strong>7. Capability Statement Requirements</strong></p>
<p>Vendors interested in participating must submit a brief capability statement including:</p>
<p>• Company name, address, and point‑of‑contact<br />
• Description of relevant technologies and capabilities<br />
• Applicable NAICS code(s)<br />
• Past performance or operational experience (if any)<br />
• Technology readiness and deployment model<br />
• Any scheduling constraints or preferred demonstration windows</p>
