KC135 Anti Collision Strobe Light

<p>The KC-135 anti-collision strobe lights are high density dual color strobe lights and are mounted<br />
on the top and bottom of the fuselage. The strobe lights flash at a rate of 45 &ndash; 60 flashes per<br />
minute. They are powered by separate power supplies. For the upper strobe light, the power<br />
supply is located inside the fuselage below the strobe light, mounted on the side of the air<br />
conditioning duct. For the lower strobe light, the power supply is located in the keel beam on<br />
standard tankers or mounted on the side of an air conditioning duct in the upper part of fuselage<br />
for remaining aircraft. Each power supply is powered by 28 Vdc.</p>
