Nashville District - JANUS LOW PRESSURE CARBON DIOXIDE REFRIGERATED STORAGE UNITS

<p>THIS IS A NOTIFICATION OF INTENT TO AWARD A BRAND NAME SPECIFICATION IN A FUTURE CONTRACT FOR CORDELL HULL AND DALE HOLLOW - &nbsp;U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS &ndash; NASHVILLE DISTRICT&rsquo;S NOTICE OF INTENT TO INCLUDE BRAND NAME SPECIFICATION IN A FUTURE CONTRACT FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ONE (1) 4-TON AND ONE (1) 6-TON JANUS LOW PRESSURE CARBON DIOXIDE REFRIGERATED STORAGE UNITS &ndash; SOLICITATION W912P526QA***</p>

<p>The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District will be soliciting a sole source quote for a Single Award Firm Fixed-Price supply contract to The Hiller Companies LLC for the supply and delivery of one (1) 4-Ton Janus Fire Systems&reg; Low Pressure Carbon Dioxide Refrigerated Storage Units with the options to purchase one (1) additional 6-ton tank and two (2) additional 4-ton tanks. The Four-Ton Low Pressure Carbon Dioxide Storage Tank shall be designed to work within the existing footprint of the previous 3.75-ton Ansul tank. The new storage tank must be fitted to work and not compromise the integrity of the fire suppression system such as the inlet values, pressure switches and controls, outlet valves, &amp; voltages.</p>

<p>Dale Hollow Power Plant staff will remove the existing 3.75-Ton Ansul Low Pressure Carbon Dioxide Refrigerated Storage Unit, disconnect piping, and prepare the area for the new footprint of the tank.</p>

<p>(Optional) Cordell Hull Power Plant staff will remove the existing 6-Ton Ansul Low Pressure Carbon Dioxide Refrigerated Storage Unit, disconnect piping, and prepare the area for the new footprint of the tank.</p>

<p>(Optional) Wolf Creek Power Plant staff will remove the existing 4-Ton Ansul Low Pressure Carbon Dioxide Refrigerated Storage Unit, disconnect piping, and prepare the area for the new footprint of the tank.</p>

<p>(Optional) Laurel Power Plant staff will remove the existing 4-Ton Ansul Low Pressure Carbon Dioxide Refrigerated Storage Unit, disconnect piping, and prepare the area for the new footprint of the tank.</p>

<p>For the purposes described herein, the USACE Nashville District intends to issue a sole source solicitation that will include the brand name items listed below:</p>

<p>This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may identify their interest and submit clearly articulated product information. Product information provided will be considered solely at the discretion of the Government. The proposed contract action is for supply for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Revolutionary Federal Acquistion Regulation Overhaul (RFO) 12.201-1.</p>

<p>Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Responses must be received by July 31, 2026, at 1:00PM, Central Daylight Time to be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of your response.
