DNCSB group – Bonifacino group equipment maintenance (5 instruments- INFORS shkaers, Calorimeter and AKTA purifier)

<li><strong>BACKGROUND</strong>&nbsp;</li>
</ol>

<p>The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development&nbsp;requires&nbsp;maintenance services for specialized laboratory instruments used by the&nbsp;Bonifacino&nbsp;research group within the Division of the Neuroscience, Cellular and Structural Biology. These instruments support ongoing biomedical research involving protein analysis, cell biology, and biochemical processes. To ensure continued reliable operation and prevent disruption to research activities, preventive maintenance and repair services are&nbsp;required. This acquisition is being pursued to&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;operational readiness of existing government-owned equipment&nbsp;located&nbsp;in Building 35 at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.&nbsp;</p>

<li><strong>SCOPE OF WORK/TASKS</strong>&nbsp;</li>
</ol>

<p>The contractor shall provide full-service maintenance support for government-owned laboratory instruments. Services shall include, but are not limited to, the following:&nbsp;</p>

<p>&middot; Perform annual preventive maintenance for each covered instrument in accordance with manufacturer recommendations&nbsp;<br />
&middot; Provide on-demand repair services, including troubleshooting and corrective actions to restore functionality&nbsp;<br />
&middot; Supply all required replacement parts, consumables, labor, and travel necessary to complete maintenance and repairs&nbsp;<br />
&middot; Provide technical support and respond to service requests in a timely manner&nbsp;<br />
&middot; Perform software updates, patches, and system checks when available and applicable&nbsp;</p>

<p>The contractor shall ensure all equipment&nbsp;remains&nbsp;in safe, reliable, and fully operational condition throughout the period of performance.&nbsp;</p>

<li><strong>DELIVERABLES</strong>&nbsp;</li>
</ol>

<p>&middot; Completion of preventive maintenance services for all covered instruments&nbsp;<br />
&middot; Service reports documenting all maintenance activities, repairs, and system status&nbsp;<br />
&middot; Timely repair and restoration of equipment functionality following service requests&nbsp;<br />
&middot; Documentation of any replaced parts, performed updates, and technical support actions&nbsp;</p>

<p>Place of Performance: National Institutes of Health,&nbsp;Building&nbsp;35, Bethesda, Maryland&nbsp;<br />
Government Point of Contact: To be&nbsp;designated&nbsp;by the requiring office&nbsp;<br />
Deliverables shall be provided throughout the period of performance as services are performed.&nbsp;</p>
