Various Fabrics (Buy American Act)

<p>This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for various fabrics required to support UNICOR&rsquo;s production of inmate clothing at the Federal Correctional Institution located in Oakdale, LA. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is <strong>CT2381‑26</strong>, and it is issued as a <strong>Request for Proposals (RFP)</strong>. This requirement is a <strong>100% Small Business Set‑Aside</strong>. The applicable small business size standard is <strong>1,000 employees</strong>.</p>

<p>UNICOR intends to award a <strong>five‑year, fixed‑price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)</strong> contract consisting of <strong>one base year and four option years</strong>. The resulting contract will include an <strong>Economic Price Adjustment (EPA)</strong> clause. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is <strong>313210 &ndash; Broadwoven Fabric Mills</strong>.</p>

<p>This solicitation incorporates the requirements of the <strong>Buy American Act (BAA)</strong> in accordance with <strong>FAR Subpart 25.1</strong>. All supplies offered must be compliant and will be evaluated accordingly. The contractor shall maintain <strong>Vendor‑Managed Inventory (VMI)</strong> at the supplier&rsquo;s location and <strong>Consignment Inventory</strong> at the FCI Oakdale facility.</p>
