<p><strong>Description:</strong><br />
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), FCI Cumberland, intends to issue a solicitation to <strong>refurbish the institution&rsquo;s wastewater lift station</strong>. Work includes demolition and removal of existing pumps, grinder, auger, electrical disconnects, transfer switch, and controls; installation of new lift station equipment; electrical upgrades; controls modernization; testing; commissioning; and staff training. All work must maintain continuous sewage system operation and comply with Federal, State, Local, NEC, NFPA 820, OSHA, and FBOP security requirements.</p>

<p><strong>Scope of Work Includes:&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;(See attached Statement of Work)</strong><br />
&bull; Removal and disposal of existing lift station equipment.<br />
&bull; Installation of new stainless‑steel NEMA 4X control panel with PLC/relay logic, VFDs, starters, surge protection, HOA switches.<br />
&bull; New level‑sensing system with redundancy and audio/visual alarms.<br />
&bull; Installation of new grinder, auger, diverters, three wet‑well pumps, and three spare pumps.<br />
&bull; Replacement of incoming disconnects, automatic transfer switch, and associated wiring.<br />
&bull; Upgraded grounding, conduits, surge/lightning protection, and fail‑safe logic.<br />
&bull; Full functional testing, hydrostatic testing, manufacturer startup, and calibration.<br />
&bull; Minimum 6 hours of on‑site training and provision of all as‑built documentation, O&amp;M manuals, warranties, schematics, and PLC programming.</p>

<p>Award will be made on best value. Price, past performance, and specifications will be evaluated.</p>

<p>Site visit scheduled for July 30, 2026 at 10 AM EST</p>
