AMENDMENT 0003 – Q&A, SITE VISIT, AND DEADLINE EXTENSION

The purpose of Amendment 0003 to solicitation FA449726Q0031 is to:

1. Publish Official Q&A:

2. Announce a Site Visit:

A site visit will be held at Dover Air Force Base on 25 June 2026 at 9:30 AM EDT. Attendees must arrive 45 minutes prior to the scheduled start time (at 8:45 AM EDT) for security check-in. Attendance is highly encouraged but not mandatory. Please review the attached document:

3. Extend Deadlines:

The deadline for final or additional questions is extended to 01 July 2026 @ 1:00 PM EDT.

The Quote Response Deadline is extended to 14 July 2026, no later than 1:00 P.M. EDT.

The purpose of this Amendment 0002 is to issue a revised Attachment 2 – Quote Schedule.

The 436 Civil Engineer Squadron, Dover Air Force Base (DE) requires a contractor to provide  all labor, tools, transportation and supervision necessary to provide a service program to control corrosion, slime and algae in the condensers and service the thermal ice storage systems, closed loop heating and cooling systems, gas-fired heating hot water systems and water softeners at Dover AFB, DE, as further defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).  

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

2. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).

3. The North American Industry Size Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this requirement is 238220 and the Small Business Size Standard associated with this NAICS is $19,000,000.00.

 4. The Provisions and clauses listed within this document and Attachment 3- Provisions and Clauses apply to this acquisition and can be viewed through internet access athttps://www.acquisition.gov/far-overhaul.

***  This is a FY27 requirement. Funds are currently not available for this action but will be made available upon the start of the new fiscal year.***
