6515 BD SiteRite 9 Ultrasound Systems and Trade In Sole Source

<p>This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services is provided to advise that the Government intends to solicit a firm-fixed price purchase order sole source award, for SiteRiteT 9 Ultrasound System and accessories with trade in to Becton Dickinson and Company; UEI: JJFKLGY7TBJ5,</p>

<p>This acquisition is for the VA Southern Nevada Health Care System at 6900 North Pecos Road N. Las Vegas, NV 89086-4400.&nbsp; The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of RFO 12.102(a) and 41 USC &sect;1901, only one source will meet the Government&rsquo;s needs. This notice satisfies the requirement at RFO 5.201(b)(2), requiring publication of the proposed contract action.</p>

<p>This notice is not a request for competitive quotes.&nbsp; However, any business that believes it can provide the Integrated SiteRiteT 9 Ultrasound System and accessories with trade in may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency, by providing written notice to victoria.torres@va.gov by the due date stated in box 8 of the SF 1449.&nbsp; Telephone requests will not be accepted.&nbsp; Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposes acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.</p>

<p>Your response should include a statement of capability, DUNS#, business size, federal supply schedule (if applicable) and socio-economic status.&nbsp; This action does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service.&nbsp; The government will not pay for any costs incurred by responses to this notice.</p>
