Minimum quantity of One (1) Machine Tool Research, Inc. Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Propulsion Shaft Lathe, Model SPL 68 X 1098M, with potential optional quantity for an additional Three (3) Model SPL 68 X 1098M CNC Propulsion Shaft Lathes.

<p>This is notice of the Government&rsquo;s intent to issue a sole-source firm-fixed price solicitation. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to: Machine Tool Research, CAGE 1JV12 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. DLA Weapons Support Richmond intends to issue a Sole Source solicitation to procure a quantity of 1 each for a Machine Tool Research CNC Shaft Lathe Model: SPL 68 X 1098M, with a quantity option of three (3).&nbsp; Base contract completion required in 365 days ARO.</p>

<p>Complete technical data package VIBB 25-25-1004 including all design, supplies, and labor requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation.&nbsp; Technical data package requires turnkey services for: installation, foundation, shipping, rigging, post processor, OSHA certification, IUID tag, training, and technical data (i.e. manuals, drawings).</p>

<p>Request for Proposal SPE4A8-26-R-0004 is anticipated to be issued July 2026.</p>

<p>FOB will be at Destination/Inspection at Origin/Acceptance at Destination.&nbsp; The solicitation will be Other Than Full and Open Competition.</p>

<p>Award will be result in a Firm, Fixed Price Contract.</p>

<p>This solicitation will contain Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) will require the offeror to have a completed Joint Certification Program (JCP) with the DLA Enhanced Validation (DEV) to retrieve the CUI from DLA&rsquo;s Collaboration Folders (AKA C-Folders).&nbsp; To obtain access, please follow the instructions here: https://www.dla.mil/logistics-operations/services/joint-certification-program/&nbsp; To access C Folders, the offeror must have both JCP and DEV.</p>

<p>DLA Anticipates including DFARS 252.204-7012, DFARS 252.204-7019 and DFARS 252.204-7020 in the solicitation. Lack of compliance with these clauses would result in an offeror being ineligible for award.</p>
