Cultural Resource Surveys on the Monongahela National Forest.

<p>This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.&nbsp; This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.&nbsp; Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Solicitation number 12444726Q0051 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Cultural Resource Surveys for Active Management on the Monongahela National Forest.&nbsp; The project may be located in any of the following ten county area in West Virginia.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The objectives of the project shall be:&nbsp;</p>

<p>(1) to locate and identify all cultural resources judged to be at least 50 years old</p>

<p>(2) to provide a complete cultural resource inventory of the area, and</p>

<p>(3) to make a preliminary evaluation of the significance of identified historic properties according to the National Register of Historic Places eligibility criteria.</p>

<p>To accomplish these objectives, the Contractor shall review existing sources of information on cultural and natural resources in the project area, conduct a complete coverage field reconnaissance, analyze the results of this investigation, and prepare a cultural resource report documenting this information on cultural and natural resources in the project area, conduct a complete coverage field reconnaissance, analyze the results of this investigation, and prepare a cultural resource report documenting this information.</p>

<p>This acquisition&nbsp; is set-aside for small business concerns.&nbsp; The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 541720&nbsp; The small business size standard is 28 million. &nbsp;This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.&nbsp; All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.&nbsp;</p>
