The METS Stroking Seat Mechanism system repair parts at ASTC PAX

<p>The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk Contracting Department, BUMED/FM&amp;C Directorate intends to procure via sole-source acquisition, multiple parts to repair the Stroking Seat Mechanisms and Exterior Cockpit Panels at the Aviation Survival Training Center Patuxent River (ASTC PAX). Specific part descriptions/numbers and quantities needed are listed below. These parts are needed to ensure proper training requirements are met and that the METS device integrity is maintained.</p>

It is the intent of the Government to process this procurement under FAR Part 12 procedures and to ultimately award a firm fixed priced (FFP) purchase order on a sole-source basis to Survival Systems USA, Inc. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard for this procurement is 811310 and a size standard of $12,500,000, respectively.</p>

<p>This notice of intent is not a request for quotes &ndash; A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
