1.0 DISCLAIMER &amp; PURPOSE<br />
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, Market<br />
Research.&nbsp;<br />
2.0 BACKGROUND &amp; REQUIREMENT<br />
MARCORLOGCOM is seeking to provide a certificate-based &quot;Logistics Fundamentals Program&quot; for up to 25 civilian employees within the logistics<br />
community (e.g., 0346, 2010, 2003 series). The training must be delivered on-site at Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Albany, GA.<br />
The required curriculum must cover the following core courses:<br />
Logistics Fundamentals Certificate<br />
- Course 1: Supply Chain Management Principles<br />
- Course 2: Warehousing Operations<br />
- Course 3: Inventory Management<br />
- Course 4: Demand Planning<br />
Supply Chain Management Certificate<br />
- Course 1: Supply Chain Management<br />
- Course 2: Supply Chain Project Management Fundamentals<br />
The overarching learning objectives for the program include, but are not limited to:<br />
- Understanding the key components and role of the logistics supply chain within a defense environment like MARCORLOGCOM.<br />
- Defining supply chain management concepts (flows, metrics, frameworks, and organizational structures).<br />
- Describing the information systems, technology, and teamwork used to create successful customer relationships and improve organizational<br />
efficiency.<br />
- Applying lean principles to warehouse and inventory management to reduce costs and improve responsiveness.<br />
3.0 NAICS CODE &amp; SIZE STANDARD<br />
The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611430 Professional and Management<br />
Development Training, which has a corresponding Small Business Size Standard of $15.0 Million in average annual receipts.</p>
