FY 26 NPTU Almar Boat Repair

<p>Joint Base Charleston is seeking vendors for the repower and repair of one (1) United States Air Force Almar 26-foot Sounder T-Top vessel.</p>

<p>The anticipated scope of work will require the contractor to provide all labor, materials, and transportation to remove legacy propulsion/control systems and install new dual outboard engines, compatible hydraulic steering, electrical wiring, batteries, and digital instrumentation.</p>

<p><strong>Note on Geographic Limitation:</strong><br />
To mitigate transportation risk to the Government-owned hull and to facilitate mandatory in-person joint sea trials with USAF personnel, the contractor&rsquo;s commercial repair facility must be located within a fifty (50) mile highway driving radius of Joint Base Charleston &ndash; Naval Weapons Station, SC.</p>

<p>This is a presolicitation notice for planning purposes only. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached for industry review. No offers are being requested at this time. A formal solicitation (RFQ) containing final instructions and due dates will be issued at a later date</p>
